➭ A CYCLING TRADITION COMES BACK TO THE CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE
Philly Bike Ride invites participants to a completely car-free and non-competitive bike ride, making cycling safe, fun, and accessible for everyone. Pedal past the historic sites of Center City and Independence Hall, enjoy water views along Penns Landing and Kelly Drive, and take in charming neighborhoods such as Manayunk.
With the Start Line by the iconic Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Rocky Steps, our 20-mile course was intentionally designed to welcome participants of all ages (3+) and from all ability levels.
Philly Bike Ride's debut marks the 50th anniversary of the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, serving as a new tradition to celebrate their work and legacy, bring the community together, and support youth cycling activities.
Whether you own a bike or not, all are welcome to ride with us! See you on October 15, on this unique opportunity to bike through the vibrant city of brotherly love without cars.
➭ ALL REGISTRATIONS INCLUDE:
✓ A Philly Bike Ride 2022 Water Bottle and 20 car-free miles filled with Philly’s historical sites, beautiful views, local music, and photo stops.
✓ Extensive mechanical support along the course and fully stocked rest stops with snacks, water, and fresh produce.
✓ A post-ride festival by the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, with music, food trucks, fun-filled activities, and giveaways from our partners.
➭ IMPORTANT EVENT DETAILS:
- SHIPPING: Unless you select packet mailing as your shipping option, you must attend Packet Pickup at the Eakins Oval on Friday (10/14) from 11 am to 8 pm to get your Rider Identification Kit. Packet mailing costs $12 for the first ticket and $6 for each additional ticket. The last day to register with packet mailing is 9/30.
- REFUNDS: There are NO refunds. Tickets are transferable to a new attendee or future event, at no cost, by August 31.
